Ottawa Telugu Association (OTA) is a not-for-profit organisation and the activities are primarily funded by the yearly membership fee and event fee for premier events. OTA's annual membership renews with our Telugu New Year - Ugadi. We encourage all the Telugu people in and around Ottawa-Gatineau region to be associated with OTA and work with us in preserving and promoting our culture and language that have a rich 3500 year heritage.
In view of COVID-19 Pandemic situation, OTA has announced no fee membership for the year 2020-21
that would be valid till Ugadi 2021 (14 April 2021). Further announcements about 2021-22 membership fee would be made in time by assessing the situation around us.
Registering as a member on OTA's online forum is open to everyone and that is different from being an OTA Member which is the reference used to identify a registered member of the association who has filled the required form and paid the specified membership fee.
